Otter Cove Resort is located five miles across Kachemak Bay due south of Homer, Alaska. Less then 15 minutes by water taxi puts you in a lush maritime forest surrounded by the Kachemak Bay State Park. Our private beach is the perfect place to start a sea kayaking excursion.

Fantastic hiking is available on the Kachemak Bay State Park hiking trail system via the Otter Cove Spur Trail.
Lodging is available in our beautiful new cabins complete with propane heat and electric lights.
Halibut and salmon fishing charters are available right from the resort. Great mountain biking and clam digging are just around the corner. Complete vacation packages are our specialty.
The Rookery Restaurant at the resort is open 7 days a week from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend for lunch and dinner. Departures are at 12 noon and 6 p.m. daily. Or you are welcome to drop in on your own boat. Come enjoy our wonderful food and waterfront atmosphere. Don't forget to try our world famous smoked clam chowder!.
